說到80年代經典的西洋老歌，我總會想到The One You Love(妳愛的人)。 這首歌國內外翻唱的人非常多，在華語樂壇像是杜德偉就唱過 ( 收錄在 1995 年的 Best Love 專輯) 

The One You Love的原唱是誰呢？答案是老鷹樂團(The Eagles)的前成員Glenn Frey，這是他在1982年發行的單曲，收錄在單飛後的首張專輯No Fun Aloud裡，曾攻上Billboard Hot 100第15名。這首歌也是該專輯成績最好的一首歌，80年代在台灣受到很多人喜愛，當時火熱的程度甚至遠超過國外，即便很多不諳英文的老一輩也為它著迷。

The One You Love最引人陶醉的就是裡面的薩克斯風(Saxophone)了，前奏、間奏和尾奏的薩克斯風聲，加上歌情充滿情感的傾訴，就是這麼動人！很多人甚至因為這樣迷上薩克斯風。

女孩，妳該選擇妳深愛，但不愛妳的他；還是妳不愛，但深愛妳的他呢？也許妳覺得不公平、難以抉擇，但妳還是得做出個決定。
