根據USA Today的報導，傳奇歌手Andy Williams於25號晚上在Brnason的家中逝世，享年84歲。

去年11月Andy Williams被診斷出有膀胱癌，不過他相當堅強，並誓言要回到舞台繼續表演，但稍早還是傳出噩耗。

Andy Williams在1953年發行他第一支熱門單曲，隨後演藝生涯一共發行42張專輯。其中有18張專輯拿到Gold認證，3張專輯拿到Platinum認證，被視為60年代最受歡迎的男歌手之一。

Andy Williams也曾於1970跟80年代主持過聖誕節特別節目，並多次擔任 Grammys、the Golden Globes和the People's Choice Awards等獎項的頒獎人，算是相當多才多藝。

長達數十年的演藝生涯，Andy Williams唱過相當多經典歌曲，像是Butterfly、Can't Get Used to Losing You、(Where Do I begin)Love Story、Can't Take My Eyes Off You(翻唱自Frankie Valli)和Moon River等都是他膾炙人口的歌曲。

尤其Moon River(月河)和翻唱的Can't Take My Eyes Off You更是廣為流傳，可惜之後再也聽不到Andy Williams現場唱這兩首歌了。

另外，這首1970年發行的(Where Do I Begin) Love Story我也滿喜歡的，至今翻唱的歌手不計其數。
