整理電腦音樂檔案的時候，我想到這首歌- Kiss from a Rose(玫瑰之吻)，這首歌是近10多年來格萊美獎年度最佳歌曲裡，算是我比較喜歡的一首歌。
Kiss from a Rose是黑人男歌手Seal(席爾)在1994年發行的單曲(來自專輯Seal II)，在95年還曾經是電影蝙蝠俠(Batman Forever)的主題曲，隨著電影的推波助瀾，讓Kiss from a Rose廣為流傳，成為Seal歷年來最成功的一首歌，也在95年重新發行。
96年Kiss from a Rose在葛萊美獎頒獎典禮上大放異彩，一共抱回Record of the Year和 Song of the Year兩項大獎，Seal自己也拿到了Best Male Pop Vocal Performance的獎項。
Kiss from a Rose在音樂榜上確實表現亮眼，在主流的美國告示榜包括BillboardHot 100、BillboardHot Adult Contemporary Tracks和BillboardHot Adult Top 40 Tracks等多個排行榜拿到冠軍。
Seal以他略帶低沉和沙啞的嗓音來詮釋這首歌，不但歌曲旋律動人，歌詞也寫得相當淒美，塑造出一種非常獨特的風格，讓人越聽越有味道，就算純用鋼琴伴奏，聽起來也很有感覺。
彷彿滄桑中……帶有一種美。
