經典的民謠歌曲Longer(永恆)，是我相當喜歡的一首英文老歌。

Longer是美國民謠詩人Dan Fogelberg在1979年的作品(來自專輯Phoenix)，一次在夏威夷渡假，夜晚浩瀚的星空給了他寫下這首歌的靈感。

Dan Fogelberg雖然在1970年就出道了，但直到發行Longer這首歌才真正打開他的知名度，讓他名聲傳遍全球。

Longer在競爭激烈的Billboard Hot 100 chart拿到第二名的成績，是Dan Fogelberg歷年來在單曲榜上成績最好的一首歌，也是他影響力最深遠的一支單曲。

歌詞裡用了許多浪漫的譬喻，編織成了款款深情。很多東西會隨著時間改變，頭髮會斑白，人會變老，但對心愛的人，那份心意卻可以是永恆、不會改變的。

簡單的吉他聲、豎琴聲、加上優美的旋律和Dan Fogelberg柔美的嗓音，多年後，依舊動人。
