Celine Dion(席琳狄翁)是少數我比較常聽的女歌手之一。

從1990 年Celine Dion發行首張唱片《Unison》至今，Celine的唱片在全球已創造出銷售超過兩億張的驚人紀錄，歷年來累積多次獲得座奧斯卡大獎、金球獎 、世界音樂獎、葛萊美獎、 全美音樂獎及告示牌音樂獎 、加拿大朱諾音樂獎 、魁北克Felix等多項榮譽，更於2004年獲頒世界音樂獎“史上最暢銷女歌手”的殊榮。並在最近富士比公布的女音樂人收入排行第三名！(前兩名分別是Madonna和Barbra)  

我個人相當喜歡她收錄在1997年Let's Talk About Love專輯裡的Immortality(英國#5，但沒在美國發行)，雖然這首歌的知名度遠遠不及Celine Dion的The Power of Love、Because You Loved Me、All by Myself和My Heart Will Go On等單曲。

Immortality優美的旋律深深吸引著我，加上歌詞，更給我一種淒美的感覺。特別的是，當初錄製這首歌的時候，Celine Dion還找來知名合唱團The Bee Gees一起合作(他們也是Immortality的作者)，在歌裡加入Bee Gees的和聲。

當然，說到Celine Dion，我們也不得不提到My Heart Will Go On這首歌，這首歌的發行只早了Immortality半年。My Heart Will Go On隨著電影鐵達尼號(Titanic)的強力放送席捲全球，在十多個國家單曲榜拿到冠軍，成為1998年全球最暢銷的單曲，至今仍是Celine Dion相當有影響力的一首歌。
